About
CVR Auto is the country's first car company to commit entirely to electric — no combustion lineup, no hybrid hedge, no legacy platform retrofitted for batteries. Just one architecture, built here, for the way India is about to drive.
The case for CVR
India will be the world's third-largest car market by 2030. The cars sold here today are designed elsewhere, for elsewhere — then made to survive Indian roads as an afterthought.
CVR exists to reverse the order. Every CVR is designed in Bengaluru, validated on Indian highways from Leh to Kanyakumari, and tuned for the temperatures, dust, traffic and distances that an Indian owner actually faces. The drivetrain is electric because nothing else makes sense for the decade ahead.
We are not converting an engine plant. We are building a car company from the silicon up.

Principles
No diesel programme to subsidise. No combustion legacy to defend. The whole company exists to make this one thing well.
Designed in India. Engineered in India. Assembled in India. With suppliers we are building alongside us, not buying from across the world.
Quiet materials. Restrained surfaces. Software that helps without asking for applause. We don't sell badges; we build cars.
One price. One app. One number to call. Service that comes to you, software that updates itself, charging that just works.
If you believe India is ready for a car company of its own — one that doesn't apologise for being electric — we'd like you to be among the first owners.
